Over the weekend, I ran into a guy that went to college with me. We had an interesting conversation about life. After graduating, he got married and started working in the family business. Everything seemed to be going well until he discovered that his wife cheats on him all the time.
I asked him why he hasn’t made a change and basically, it’s because he makes good money and has learned to deal with it. He said he was satisfied.
Are you satisfied with where you’re at in life right now? If your story ended today, would you be content with what you’ve done and who you’ve become? When someone says they’re satisfied, it usually means that they’ve accepted the status quo. They’ve reached a point, in their mind, where they’ve been able to justify the current situation, even if they envisioned more from the very beginning. Is that you?
When you REALLY think about it… is being satisfied the best you can do? We’re only here for a limited amount of time.
